Eltronic, located on the Jutland Peninsula, has set new standards in the wind turbine industry with its lifting beam. Their innovative approach allows manufacturers of offshore wind turbines to safely and accurately mount blades with higher wind speeds than before. This adds value to Danish industry, strengthening Denmark’s competitiveness and image.
Bondy supplies the electric actuators mounted on the beams and has been involved in providing technical calculations, dimensioning and advice on coatings since the start of the project.

The first lifting beam produced was designed to assist with the installation of 4MW onshore wind turbines and the project later developed to include 7MW offshore wind turbines. Bondy is currently a supplier for the project, which is running at full throttle on land, at sea and… in the air.
