BRECOflex Timing Belts
BRECO and BRECOFLEX timing belts are manufactured from wear-resistant thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) combined with high-tensile steel cord tension members. The combination ensures dimensional stability, minimal elongation, and high load capacity, even under continuous dynamic stress.
BRECO timing belts are available in open lengths or joined form, ideal for linear drives, conveying, and positioning applications.
BRECOFLEX timing belts are produced as endless belts using a continuous spiral tension member — ensuring precise pitch accuracy and uniform load distribution for power transmission drives.
Both types maintain reliable performance from –30 °C to +80 °C, with specialized materials available for food-grade, high-temperature, or low-temperature applications.
Advantages and Features
- Durable polyurethane with steel, stainless steel, or aramid tension members – available as endless (BRECOFLEX) or open-length (BRECO) belts for all drive and transport applications.
- Temperature resistant from –30 °C to +80 °C (up to +110 °C with TPUWB) and achieving up to 98 % efficiency with precise, low-noise synchronous running.
- Optional designs: double-sided (DL), reinforced back (DR), or transport coating (T), plus nylon coatings (PAZ/PAR) for reduced friction and longer service life.
- Broad profile range including AT, ATP, BAT, BATK, SFAT, ATK, ATN, T and Imperial, all RoHS-compliant and resistant to oils, fats, petrol, aging, and hydrolysis.

FAQ
What is the difference between BRECO and BRECOFLEX belts?
BRECO belts are supplied in open length or joined form, while BRECOFLEX belts are truly endless with a continuous tension member for maximum accuracy and strength.
Which belt profile should I choose – AT, BAT, or ATP?
AT belts offer high load capacity, BAT and BATK profiles provide low noise and self-guiding capability, and ATP profiles deliver up to 60 % higher performance for heavy-duty drives.
Can these belts be used in food or temperature-critical environments?
Yes. Special materials such as TPUFD1 (food contact), TPUWB1 (high temperature), and TPUKF1 (low temperature) are available.
What is the benefit of the E tension member?
The E design uses many thinner steel wires, providing higher flexibility, improved fatigue strength, and reduced minimum pulley diameters.
Does Bondy A/S provide customized solutions?
Yes. Bondy offers in-house machining, special coatings, customized lengths, and fast technical support for industrial applications.
