The Piab VU EP-ECU valve unit is designed for seamless integration with Piab piFLOW® vacuum conveying systems and works together with the ECU-15FM control unit to manage all conveyor functions with precision. Equipped with electro-pneumatic valves, the unit ensures accurate control of conveying sequences, contributing to stable and efficient system operation.
Manufactured in durable ASTM 304 stainless steel and rated IP65, the valve unit is suitable for demanding industrial environments. It operates within a temperature range of 5 to 50°C and is prepared for straightforward installation and maintenance. Electrical connection is provided via a 12-pin M12 connector with a 10-metre cable, enabling easy integration into existing conveying setups.

Piab Valve Unit with E/P – ECU
The Piab Valve Unit with E/P – ECU is designed to operate together with the ECU-15 electrical control unit to control Piab vacuum conveying systems efficiently and reliably. The unit incorporates electro-pneumatic valves that manage the main conveyor functions and enable precise control of conveying cycles.
Integrated software-based piGENTLE® functionality ensures gentle product handling, making the unit particularly suitable for fragile materials such as tablet products and applications using piFLOW®t conveyors. The valve unit is prepared for simple installation and connection to the conveyor’s primary functions, with an electrical interface via a 12-pin M12 connector and a recommended maximum distance of 10 metres between the conveyor and valve unit when operating at 0.6 MPa feed pressure.

Piab Capacitive Sensor G1/2A L82 TC CPL
The Piab Capacitive Sensor G1/2A L82 TC CPL is designed for accurate level detection and process control in piFLOW® SMART vacuum conveying systems. Used together with the ECU-15S control unit, the sensor regulates suction and discharge timing within the conveyor to ensure stable and efficient material transfer.
By monitoring product levels in both feeding and receiving vessels, the sensor helps maintain consistent conveying performance and prevents overfilling or interruptions in operation.
