A pharmaceutical manufacturer experienced recurring problems with dropped products during handling, causing production stoppages, additional cleaning and waste. The existing suction cups provided insufficient airflow and collapsed under high vacuum. Space constraints prevented the use of larger standard components.
Bondy tested the application and developed a compact custom mount with improved airflow and a reinforced suction cup based on the customer’s drawing. The solution stabilised handling, eliminated the associated stoppages and reduced operating costs.

Challenge

Solution
Bondy developed a custom mount that increased airflow without changing the air pressure or the machine’s dimensions. A reinforced suction cup made from a more stable material provided reliable handling within the available space.

Stoppages caused by dropped products were eliminated, reducing waste and increasing uptime. This lowered the customer’s total cost of ownership (TCO).
