Bondy developed a chain with low-friction links and corrosion-resistant components that fitted the existing system.
The chain’s materials and lubricant were selected to meet the application’s specified requirements, while the design removed the need for routine relubrication.
Result
Chain service life increased fivefold, reducing replacement frequency and production stoppages. Removing monthly lubrication also reduced maintenance and cleaning work and eliminated the product contamination risk associated with that task.
The customer gained a reliable supply of replacement chains, while longer service life reduced resource consumption and contributed to a smaller carbon footprint.
