Bondy developed a custom BLM Linear spindle module that met the customer’s technical requirements and provided three times the service life. The solution included documented traceability and was developed to meet the application’s specified requirements.
Challenge
The original component was no longer available, leaving the customer dependent on a module that could not be sourced for future maintenance.
Solution
Bondy developed a replacement based on its own BLM module. The new spindle module offered three times the service life and could be refurbished quickly instead of being replaced completely.
The design combined a direct replacement for the existing component with a more practical approach to ongoing maintenance.

The customer reduced TCO and improved operational reliability through longer service life, fewer replacements and fewer production stoppages.
Reliable spare parts supply from local stock in Denmark supported future maintenance. Refurbishing the modules instead of replacing them reduced resource consumption and contributed to a smaller carbon footprint.
